What an AWFUL ending, even for an axed manga standards.

  • We got no resolution of their romance
  • FL had a whole time skip to graduation to respond his confession, but she said nothing
  • we got no kiss due to side characters interrupting. Nobody liked that and novody find it funny;
  • Side characters had no romance development to have this final scene.

Yeah, this manga really deserved to get axed and I hope this author doesn't make another series anymore. He sucks.

It's finished!!!!!!!!!

Hello, this is Hatta Eku.

As the title says, "Izuki-kun Wants to Be Corrected" came to an end on November 5th.

Thank you so much for all the love you've shown Izuki and the others!

I'm happy to have been able to draw so many stories centered around Izuki and Ririko.

I also posted it on X, but when I found out the update date was on a super moon, I thought, "Is it fate?" and jumped for joy.

And those of you who read all the way to the final chapter have probably thought the same thing...

"They're not dating?!!"

They're not dating.

No matter how you look at it, they give off the impression that they're in love with each other, but they're not dating.

It's important, so I'll say it again: they're not dating.
*They're not dating yet.

My story, "Izuki-kun Wants to Be Corrected," has come to an end, but their lives are still going on.
What about the relationship between Mao and Fuuga, and who exactly is Kyonosuke after all? I'm letting my imagination run wild with these kinds of things, and what paths will they walk?
From now on, I intend to enjoy my imagination along with all the readers.

Volume 2 is scheduled for release on December 27th.
The end of the year will come around so quickly!
For Volume 2, I asked my editor to draw an original manga, so I hope you'll look forward to it.
The cover has also been designed to be really cute, so please look forward to seeing it too!

The weather has suddenly become chilly recently, so please take care of yourself and stay warm!

This post was brought to you by Hatada, who has finally started going to the gym again.
Not sure about that last paragraph, but it seems it's not axe-kun this time. Also there's a new manga coming?

When a romance progress at a normal pace, it ends quickly. If anything it’s our standards that are skewed by mangas.

I had fun but I see why it was canned. The main duo didn’t have an incredible dynamic so there wasn’t much past the initial gimmick.

I liked the dynamic of Fuuga and Mao (the side duo) much more. They bounce off eachother really well.

If you agree, I’d recommend lovely complex. Ootani and Risa is Probably my gold standard for rom manga dynamics.

It's pretty common etiquette in Japan to not call out your bosses, even if they do something scummy to you.

Most mangaka won't come out and say publicly "My story got axed! fuck my publishers!"

They tend to grit their teeth and say thank you to their bosses while holding back their tears. :fml:
