Jaguar Rebranding thread

Alright...
Since I have nothing to talk about already,
I thought making about the Jaguar rebranding would be a good idea.

If you don't know who Jaguar is, it is the sports car and luxury vehicle brand of Jaguar Land Rover (Wikipedia page)

Two weeks ago, they announced their rebrand:

And three days ago, they announced their new cars:

Now, personally, i think the new cars design is cool and interesting,
but the new logo sucks, really sucks.
It's like if they just put the Jaguar name with the Comfortaa font lol.

Anyway, feel free to give any thoughts about this in this thread.

Ignoring the promotional video that feels like a promotion for clothing brand, the logo itself is yet another victim of the boring trend of making logos as plain and unoriginal as possible.

I get why "highly detailed" logo designs fell out of fashion, but at some point (Around 2010) companies just started going completely backwards with their design choices.

But I kinda want to imagine how much the logo designer was paid to draw this.

I don't even know what a Jaguar is to begin with, as I'm really not a car person. I would prefer to use the money on a personal arcade in my hypothetical mansion.
