Every time I hear about a scan group dropping a series because "they're getting sniped" I can't help but laugh at them. Nobody is forcing the scan team to drop it. You don't see the anons translating 5Toubun dropping it just because Dropkick is trying to snipe them. You know why? Because they do it out of love for the series.

@Jacough I'm pretty sure I'm right to complain when the end result is a drop in translation quality. That's the point everybody is missing: we're not discussing whether sniping is good or not, we're annoyed because the series gets spammed with shitty speedscans and now we don't have an alternative to those.

The point is, I would be fine even with the sniping if it was *good* sniping. IF.
