It's pretty freaking good, yeah. It doesn't need to enter the hole, I'm pretty sure my mom never do that when I was a kid, just the outer flap (especially the thin outer layer) and behind the ear are already really nice. Even better with something like cajeput oil.

Does ear cleaning actually feel relaxing I've never done it because I prefer to use a medication to clear earwax.

It's like hearpat, get it from random people wont do anything, get it from your mom or other people you're realy close to and you'll feel happy like a little child.

This is a terrific work written by a terrific author. Not only does it importantly raise awareness to Japan’s youth about their dying rural areas, but it also (from my perspective, at least) shows that you don’t need a formal education to lead a happy life. So many young people the world over look down on jobs that require a higher education, and I’m happy that this work combats that stigma.

I've never had it done to me but for most people, there is no reason to do anything like that because earwax cleans itself naturally, and removing too much may cause an ear infection (earwax is there for a reason)

From what I've heard, it is true to most, but in certain Asian genomes earwax becomes "dry" quickly and is not cleaned as nicely as in others.
Situation where dy wax becomes a problem for people with "wet" earwax genomes can also become a problem in case you are cleaning it, and push it further into your ear...
