Something that people nowadays don't really understand because people no longer give a damn about honor and it's why they believe there is an overreation when things like this happens in stories.
It's more like we, as a society, have realized killing eachother over honor insults is excessive and leads to a lot of dead people. Not to mention honor codes are mainly rules/conduct for during war with purposes like keeping the trained killers in check/prevent them from killing innocents whenever they feel like (i.e. Chivalry example 1 example 2) and those in charge getting the most effort/loyalty from their warriors (i.e. Bushido example 1 example 2)
Not that wartime rules are a bad thing. Although, the first Bushido example suggests modern Bushido is being used by corporations to "get the maximum amount of work out of their salarymen" (i.e. black companies). But the way you say it sounds like it's a bad thing that it's not allowed to kill random people for slights against somebody's honor (in general, rather than just this specific example).

You really treat that as purely an advance?
Honor is not just about personal offense, being honored is also not reserved for chivalry or bushido. An honored person is a person who has a collection of good traits, among virtues such as Honesty and Integrity.
WIth the fall of the concept of honor, people nowadays don't think twice before stepping on the mud, as long as they can get an advantage out of it.
Does honor lead to more deaths? Frankly I cannot see it. Nowadays, people will kill others for the most stupid reasons.
People kill on the assumption of being entitled to something, for looking at you the "wrong"(what they perceive) way. For assumed ownership of another person.
I really don't think things have changed in the least. At least back then people who pursued honor would try to be decent before taking lives.

"But the way you say it sounds like it's a bad thing that it's not allowed to kill random people for slights against somebody's honor (in general, rather than just this specific example)."
It seems that way doesn't it? But then you look at the situation she was in, look at how she was raised and the sense of values her backstory has shown that people of her "caste"(Figuratively Speaking) has. He not only humiliated her in a public place, he stole her sword as well.
In any realistic society this could've ended with her social death right there(Specially because people around ehr wouldn't know that she didn't go bare on purpose). This is a medieval fantasy world, where things such as psychology, criminal investigation, and communication are so far behind a person can get traumatized for life, false testimonies will easily get a person arrested with no chance for a future investigation or even need for actual evidence, and a lie easily becomes absolute truth in the eyes of society.
Something that is much worse than a simple wound that will eventually heal and you'll either forget about it or take pride in, depending on the circunstances surrounding the wound.
So yes things like crimes of honor does warrant serious attacks with the intent to kill here.

Being wronged does not give her the right to take justice in her own hands. Is she the lord of the land? Was she given a mandate to pursue justice by the lord? No, and no. It may be a primitive world, but seeing as there is a society there will be laws. She went beyond the law, I am almost 100% sure of that.

@Wnf sure, if you in a cast or bed bound for 6 + weeks. But even if he is not doing weight training and sword training every day anymore he is doing a ton of movement around, walking for days to weeks carrying his time frozen helpers around in that wagon is going to still help build or at least maintain muscle. He did spend a few weeks to months recovering, but that was after the whole getting stabbed with a sword thing, so seeing as a weakling before that seems a bit fetched, but now I am applying real world rules to a Manga, so if the author wants him to be weak again, he is going to be weak again.

Guys, this is fantasy, a whole lot of real world science do not apply here:
(1) If he truly stopped time, he cannot see anything because light will not move into his eyes.
(2) Friction would be so great it would hurt him to just move around.
(3) I get that anything in your body might work, but how did the MC cook food when time is stopped for months on end? Did he loot all the already cooked/ready to eat food in the town?
(4) How did he get the already stretched fabric (panties) to unstretch?
(5) Why did monster blood flowed when MC killed them when their blood was supposed to be time-stopped?
...and many more things that do not make sense.

So really, just sit back and enjoy the series without thinking too much about it if you do want to enjoy it...

This guy is the unfiltered version of my inner self, except more perverted. (I mean, hopefully I'm less perverted. Maybe I'm only deluding myself, considering how much BL, Yuri, Yaoi, and brain-dead villainess romance I read. I do hope I have better moral standards than this guy, but considering he has to do SOMETHING to stay sane while time is stopped and he's alone for months at a time, it is quite impressive he's perfectly sane. Not to mention, he essentially took care of his wounds alone and has so much basic survival knowledge that I don't have. Did he stop time for like a few years to get all that memorized?)
