The story sounds like bullshit. Okay, the elves were buying all magic stones they could get their hands on, even potentially fenced goods. But why would the thieves sell at a third of the original price? That doesn't make any sense, unless the purpose was just to create a rift between the two races.

Rocca is quite annoying. Her face also seems really inconsistent.

Not to mention, it'd be easy to deceive the thief on who the real buyer is. They could have simply said they were the elves, and why the thief dig any deeper than that? This could have been a ploy by the Trolls, during the war, to end the trade deal.

There's no way it's as simple as what was described. Prepare for twist, turns, and political intrigue.
