wow, so much hate for this manga, but it doesn't surprise me. It's not the typical SO FICTIONAL "weird guy wins the beautiful girl". When I started reading this I thought... "I can't believe this has so many chapters... this usually will get axed because japanese people (and even now western people) likes to feel self-inserted like the MC"
And after starting reading chapter 16, I was: "ohh... loooool"
This one felt more real because irl there's no way a weird guy wins the girl (I mean, the odds at least are way too low, or nonexistent).
The pacing was still too fast, but that was because was axed, so it can't be helped.
Anyway, this one doesn't deserve hate. Just shows that people loves to feel self-inserted in unrealistic settings, and when that doesn't shows in a FICTIONAL story, they talk bs about it.

It wasn't the best manga, but it was nice to read.

I'm not upset that he didn't get the girl. I'm upset that nothing happened. Also they seemed to allude that the genki girl might like him, so even showing him finding something with her and supporting Shinohara would have been great. In the end, we just have a guy who seemingly has no chance with the girl he likes, pretending that he doesn't like her so that he can be self-cucked. I would have preferred he fallen out of love or come to some understanding about the situation, but the last 6 chapters basically did nothing.

I had the same reaction to the end of Halo 2, “Are you kidding me!?! It just ends here!?!” The momentum of the story gave no indication that the last panel was approaching. It just stops.

Although I just stops suddenly, everything else was quite a pleasant read. But still kinda of a let down of a ending, but that’s just how life is, it’s disappointing. But don’t let that stop you from reading. Although the ending, this manga is one of my favorites.

I think only the meguru manga wins in terms of shitshow, because when this went the wrong way at the time, the editor had the sense to axe it immediately

This manga is a 10/10,because it reflects reality in manga form. It's very rare for mangaka to tackle reality, and this manga does it effortlessly. The MC is the only one who is unbelievable, which is understandable, since he is supposed to be the character the audience relates to. Amazingly real work. 10/10

Not surprised that people didn't enjoy this when 'self-insert' series (like 'rental girlfriend') is what majority of the audience enjoys. Given more chance I think this could have turned into a pretty good manga, shame that it got the axe.

The manga ended, but the lives and times of the protagonists don't. Call it a Slice of Life if you will. The MC got closer to the FMC, and she found she has no chance with the boy she idolized, so hope springs eternal.

BTW, am I the only one to realize that the MC found his calling as an MC? Give him a mic and he'll draw in the crowd.

Dont read this. This manga is very good but the manga was axed at its climax. The enjoyment of this manga is not worth it for the sudden ending. If you do decide to read this manga, just skip the last chapter
