Probably the best character writing so far in rebellion, although pretty biased since I think Zane was one of best written parts of original winvurga. Rebellion writing has been really bad overall tbh so this was nice.

Yea I think win and majiko arc were good in rebellion but the mashiro being defiled scene feels really forced and didn't really serve any purpose. I don't really care about the author using a main character for that typa stuff since he did the same with all of the jinkis nearly (except aoba I think) but when it's there just to be there it really weakens the original work and this one. Might be just because it's monthly but the writing really drags on or becomes cliche in rebellion too. Original winvurga was kinda cliche but mashiro was more developed there with her light and dark form self and more world building on the cast of characters. Rebellion kinda just takes the characters people like and re introduces them for win, or just defiles them cause fan service(not bad again as long as plot keeps up).

Idk this mini zane arc has been good and rumor is Yomi will be next chapters which is good, but again it's kinda just borrowing the previous works and flaunting them. I haven't seen anything specifically good in rebellion like the jinki or winvurga series. All just my opinion though, definitely can change.

Yeah, we already know the kid. And..yeah somehow the “the dominators want us to have kids so…let’s do exactly that to defy them” plan worked. It’s a stupid ass plan. And Zane suddenly loving someone other than Mashiro comes out of nowhere but…okay.

The story still moves at the speed of snail. In OG winvurga, these last 3/4 chapters would all be 1 chapter. They draw things out too much. 1 chapter for capture. 1 chapter for the first penetration. 1 chapter for the creampie. It takes 3 months to do a scene that realistically takes 2 minutes real time to read/see in animation with the ridiculous villain speech included.

And next chapters are Yomi so once again we’re just reintroducing more flashback characters and our supposed lead, Win, will wind up absent for half a year…and it’ll be over a year until Win actually does something. I mean really…Win did nothing but watch Mashiro get raped. Then they had a misunderstanding battle that ends in a draw…now this and Yomi.

See you in 2027 when the cliffhanger of “something invaded the void win was at” gets brought back up. lol.
