And on his FUCKING BIRTHDAY! Kondo is right for viewing her as "not as smart as people say she was" thinking doing SUSPICOUS behavior on her "SUPPOSE LOVER'S BIRTHDAY" wasn't going to be the SHARPEST KNIFE she could plunge in their heart! It's worse then cheating normally! It's the audacity to do it on a DAY that should be SPECIAL to you SO! Ms. Aono had it right, if things didn't work out, as long as they PEACEFULLY broke up, there would be no problem, but she BETRAYED Eiji and as she said, she didn't want to hate her MORE then she already did, seeing how instead of owning up, she instead made excuses, could only say she's SORRY like she's still a child and this isn't a SERIOUS THING SAYING SORRY ISN'T GOING TO CUT IT!

Of course, this is the reason why Luna is a really good and noble person -almost like Eiji but in woman- while Miyuki is a piece of shit of person. But her exes were really bad people and several of them cheated Luna before 2 months, they definitely were the kind of people able to return only to try to destroy the happiness of Luna with Ryuto in their marriage
It was too convenient from Kimi Zero´s plot that people never appeared in the screen, and feels almost how the author developed Luna and Ryuto as so weak people who could be easily manipulated for those bastards and this is the reason why Ryuto never confronted those dudes and was so afraid he ended prefering fled to Indonesia
But yes, even a manipulated and gaslighted Luna never would fall so low as Miyuki did and never would allow Ryuto would be mistreated or punched by one of his exes.

The real reason why Tachibana did that is because Eiji rejected have sex with her because he was loyal to Miyuki, this is the reason why Tachibana sent Kondo to manipulate Miyuki.

the sad part is while mikyuki is digging herself deeper and deeper into this hole, she is actually infact just as much a victim in all of this as Eiji is. While yes that doesn't excuse what she did at all she will eventually come to understand the consequences of both her actions and inactions. her actions in regards to cheating on Eiji and her inaction in regards to denying the allegations that Eiji was abusing her physically which led to Eiji getting bullied.


D (the author) has gone on to state that miyuki is the story's hidden protagonist. that the narrative is how she will confront her guilt and her journey is central to the underlying story overall. she's not there currently but she will get there eventually even if she has to suffer through it all

WN is complete and you can read the whole thing in a sitting or two. The manga is going to take a long time to play out.

I'm not excusing her decision, just giving you an explanation:
She feels like she has nobody to rely on, no place to rest, not even in her own home in the comfort of her own bed. Not having ANY place where you can relax and forget about your problems does awful things to your state of mind, it's very unhealthy for anyone's mentality. She can no longer be with Eiji, can't talk with Eiji's mom, can't share her pain with anyone at school, hell she can't even rely on her own family because she betrayed her mom's feelings too. And 'resting' inside her room is probably the worst place for her, because she is left alone with her thoughts, nothing to distract her, and everything to remind of what she lost.
So she tries to escape to the only place where she can find even the slightest bit of comfort and distraction - bitchboy's dick. In her current state of mind, it's either fully embrace being the whore she is, or be catatonic day and night, crying constantly. There is no path to redemption that she can see, there is nowhere to even begin salvaging the situation, and simply not being a whore solves absolutely nothing regarding her mental state.

Which is good, she can go fuck herself. But I hope she doesn't kill herself, death is still a bit too much, even for what she did.
