The WN was fun as heck, too bad the translation is dead.
Hopefully it catches up with the latest translated chapter soon.

I guess this prince is what can be described as "pitifully talented". When you're so obscenely good at everything, you crave any sort of sense of stimulation and he seems like he became kind of a low-key sociopath.

...Luckily for him, he still operates under Common Sense, and otherworlders are their natural predator.

I love this story as a web novel and now that it is a manga I'm even more excited! Also, on novelupdates Convallaria's Library has taken over translating the web novel so the story has progressed quite far.

This is not important, but is anyone else a little creeped out by how long the prince's legs are in proportion to the rest of his body, and how low his eyes are positioned in his face?

@captain_crunch i agree, and Bertia's head is way bigger than her neck.

I like the story, i'm glad it has a manga adaptation but... i really don't like the art :(

you know i get her logic, she doesn't wanna inadvertently deprive the prince and the heroine of what she feels is their deserved happy ending, but it's a little late for that now , prince already wants you

I can understand Bertia, winning heroine in vast majority of stories is an epitome of care and patch up whatever misery mc got through with an "obstacle" as villainess shenanigans, but this time she is using her knowledge to undone or prevent things that would happen.

I like that Cecil isn't bathing in the glory, he operates "in the shadows", this would be suspicious if he had the knowledge of epidemic and be prepared before an outbreak could claim more lives, same thing happened during COVID after all, as people grew suspicious that vaccine was created in such short time, seeding doubt it wasn't man made to cause trouble.

Looking forward to Bertia trying to steer the story on the right track, but winning in the end.

Also, that's a red herring with the amulet if I ever seen one...
