Yeah regardless of “programming” she just outed herself as completely psycho and the other thing was crazy from the start, and I don’t think I can deal with MC just dumbly shrugging it off any more. This story started to lose me a bit when MC started applying his own whimsy to the world in over-the-top ways because it completely annihilated (even more than MC’s OP powers) even the chance of something being threatening. But now we see that even his relatively cool calculating methods before reduced to more stupid whimsy in the face of completely psychopathic allies of convenience.

I think she was looking for an excuse not to have to fight him which is why she asked if he was a god instead of just attacking

Probably true, the power must come with a strong compulsion. She was fairly calm and normal until she got her power back
