He is merciless, he literally decapitated a random bandit's head at the start of the series.

Also this barrier magic has to be the same as creation magic right? I just didn't bother to think about it as he literally made a pc and a nintendo switch just by using his barrier magic alone.

funnily enough. in the official TL, they retconned it by making MC just hitting the guy with huge block of barrier and dldn't burn them directly but rather burn only the castle and leaving them alone within it (burning them directly would guarantee death).

Was it the volume release that retconned that bandit kill? I was reading the fan translations.
