But that's also the thrill reading this series because of how realistic it could be if you were sent to a world as they are.

I've read the rest a long time ago and:

Chiba has a level cap. Haru doesn't.
Haru accumulates EXP and skills from the men she sleeps with.
She also has 16× EXP, so her subsequent growth is really fast.
Her cheat lets her suppress her level and selectively deactivate skills, which is why she can appear vastly weaker than she actually is.
She eventually obtains "Unlimited Levels", meaning she isn't subject to the normal human level cap.

Ie, Chiba is actually nothing in front of Haru. She just lets him play hero.

She's the real hero. The one destined to kill the demon lord (she sleeps with him btw and he knows what she is)
