Bad feel is bad.

“Well, time to find a new coffee shop.”
I remember when the cantor at my synagogue accidentally told me that she’d clocked me by apologising for something that didn’t matter. “I guess I have to talk with her in private another day. I need to finish prayers and go finish my panic attack at home. Then I’ll type up an email. I can’t see myself going to another shul!”. That, in some ways, is a bigger deal than moving to another house/apartment. Stress. Doom.
I decided to be open again for entirely different reasons eventually. Visibility in an accepting space isn’t a bad thing.
