Man, idk if it's just for drama or if korea is really so shitty that a judge must worry about economical consequences before sentencing smone. At that point, you can't prosecute mob bosses cuz they give work to thousand of people.

Well, its definitely not realistic, a judge cant make decision on his own, they have their own team. It definitely weird when only 1 judge that got this terrible fate. Moreover, considering hows today information being incredibly fast delivered around the globe, i doubt this scenario will happen, if it happened around 70 or 80, it might happen once in a while, i know something similar happened back in 199x in certain country where judges die one by one. Well it's drama, so i think its good enough already

@timidhakana why do you say judges can’t make decisions on their own? They listen to the prosecution and defense and make a judgment. Not all trials are judged by jury, and unless you also know the Korean legal system well you shouldn’t apply western legal systems to it

@yotsuba12 yeah i overlooked that. Judge can do work alone on small case like this where the defendant is charged by trespassing. But still stupid how mc charged defendant with death penalty lol.
