I've been 100% expecting to find out that dismantle isn't really sukuna's cursed technique, but that it's something similar to yuta's copycat CT. Dismantle is probably his favorite to spam, and his technique probably isn't fire arrow, he just replicated it
Yep, what gives credit to the theory that he did not use his CT for real is that Uraume said that, so far, Sakuna did not fight using his full power.
BUT, personally I think Uraume is full of shit. I don't think Sakuna is playing on dumb villain logic of not fighting using everything he has and driving himself into a corner out of stupidity and arrogance. Right now he lost two arms so he can't use DE and his CE should be low because of Yuji's punches.
IF Sakuna is going to reveal his full power is probably in one or two chapters, I guess things came to a point that he can't really ignore Yuji at all...
Btw, where the fuck is the Urame x Kinji fight?

I’m pretty sure it’s his own version of Blood Manipulation similar to that of Choso, hardening the blood in his arms
It can't be that since those arms appeared before using blood manipulation in many occasions. Most people speculate that it could be related to the Cursed Womb Paintings or Sukuna since he ate so many fingers. However there is no certain answer, my theoryis that those arms came from the fact that he probably learned to manipulate his soul from housing sukuna and gaining experience from fighting mahito

Has anybody explained why Yuji has those arms yet? or is it something people have accepted?
There is no definite answer since people have been saying that the arms are from itadori's relationship with the cursed womb paintings or the fact that he ate a lot of sukuna's fingers, my theory is that he probably found a way to manipulate his soul from housing sukuna and fighting mahito.

"Do you really need for me to explain why I can't use black flash?"
Used black flash against sukuna btw
"Besides, when I fight seriously, cursed techniques intervine with physical blows. In a situation like that, black flash is practically up to luck, even for me"

So what was the point of first sentence? Does he actually mean, that he can't use black flash at will?

The translation is fucked up, I saw some people point it out on Reddit and other sites.
To boil it down:
Gojo explains why he can't use the Black Flash AT WILL even when he has the Six Eyes
And he explains that the fraction of a second rule is in fact wrong and him, or anyone can explain with certainty what causes a Black Flash to appear, and the whole matter is way more complex than people make it seem to be.
So for all current sorceres know, a Black Flash is pure luck.

I think you'll find it a lot better paced when you aren't following it week by week tbh. I caught up with the series only a few chapters ago and have loved this whole fight so far.
Yeah same. Plus, even if you're just busy in your life it wouldn't be too slow for you or something. It'd be a nice lil weekend read for you and then you move on to your day and work y'know.

Yuji could have awakened like 3 months ago and this fight would have felt the same
im sure im not alone in thinking the series just burned me out

but since its so little until the end, i might stick around just to trash on it further
Literally every manga reader that always yap about how they wanna drop the manga everytime a chapter came out after dissing Gege says this line, but then nvr had the guts to do so and is there again commenting when next chapter comes out lmfao

It has been heavily implied back in the culling game, there's a chapter with the flashbacks of choso and yuji talked and it implied that Yuji ate the remains of the other 6 cursed wombs Death Paintings left with Choso's permissions, hence why he is the same hybrid like choso now and why he can do blood manipulation, the arms must have been a CT/trait from one of the cursed wombs. Every death painting has a signature CT/trait.

It's talking about Yuji's eyes.
The first time he got those eyes with circles inside them was when he fought Sakuna in Megumi's body for the first time
When Sakuna noticed Yuji's eyes he said "I get it, the boy is from that time" and we get the whole Kenjaku in Yuji mamma's body flashback.
Now, Kenjaku probably did not bang Yuji's father while possessing Yuji's mom, he probably took one of the cursed wombs and implanted himself with it, the result of this experiment is Yuji.
Being a dead fetus from the Heian era, eating a shit-ton of Sakuna's fingers and the rest of the cursed-wombs, Yuji right now is probably a Cursed Spirit - Human hybrid. That and he's probably awakening the way to use Sakuna's CT dismantle, remember that Gojo said he should be able to use it eventualy, but he never got to it (Even if he did manage to use Cursed Blood right now thanks to eating the cursed wombs).
That or Sakuna's CT is not dismantle but something else we did not see yet.

Edit: Forgot to point it out, but Yuji's eyes look just like Sakuna's. And Sakuna said something about how Yuji never gives up and how Yuji's willpower is as strong as his own. That coupled with Yuji's grandfather's and Yuji's hair looking a lot like Sakuna's true form and the fact that Kenjaku probably did not chose Yuji's parents out of luck PROBABLY means that Sakuna is Yuji's ancestor.
Having Sakuna's blood could also explains why Yuji was the perfect vessel for Sakuna.
It's Sukuna 😭 not Sakuna, sorry this is oot but I keep seeing sometimes ppl type him as Sakuna and it always makes me wonder in which translation did they use Sakuna instead of Sukuna? Because the tcb and the official nvr call him Sakuna

To be fair, we don't see the people who do drop the manga.

Feels like us commenters who have kept up with it since the start of the Gojo fight are too invested at this point to drop it, no matter what Gege does.

Yeah believe it or not, that behaviour of readers who kept wanting to say they'd drop it but then never did and just pick up again nexy chap had even been discussed in one article, as it was a very common thing in the fanbase hahah
well, been here since the start, not just from gojo fight began, and I'm still invested

Funnily enough, there’s a theory going on that Sukuna’s actual CT is named “Shrine”, which allows him to essentially eat a form of Cursed Energy, and add that to his arsenal in order to give his own CT a characteristic. Which is why he was able to use that Fire Arrow despite only having shown to cleave and dismantle.

This is also a reference to the shrines which emperors had during historical Japan, which stored many weapons. That’s also why the Black Box might just actually he Sukuna’s “Shrine” opening.

Same, I just got caught up with this chapter and it's been really, really good.

I feel like with just about every series the people who are current complain about the pacing, wanting something to happen every week
