I've said in one of the previous chapters - I can buy any revenge story selling if it's an actual revenge story. This isn't, wasn't since before Shun even went to prison. Since the conflict with "the final boss" started, Shun is no longer able to take revenge. He is being constantly played, forced, and manipulated by the other guy. To the point of being completely hopeless. He had him right in front for a while when they were going to the VR thing, and he still didn't kill him, just to be stopped by a fence now. Even when he was killing other bullies, Shun was taking occasional Ls, and now he is only taking Ls. This is a masochist/victim story, not a revenge story.
