I genuinely thought the author ass pulled psychic powers for Kyou with that fucking garbage. Mother fucker put up an AT field out of no where but surprise it was there the whole time! Ignore the fact that it would have been clearly visible if it an angle like it was shown in the image even if you accept the bullshit of "invisible" acrylic; light doesn't behave that way at corners of prisms.

Not only that but they clearly showed the acrylic blockade was only on 2 sides so Shun could just...walk around and strangle that little shit but knowing this author 2 more panels would magically manifest to block that side too. So knowing that the author will ass pull solutions the meta answer would be to try to find every point of ingress forcing the author to lock Kyou completely in acrylic which would cut off his air supply and thus suffocate Kyou by the hand of god himself.
I thought they were going to introduce another edgy futuristic level tech: shield barriers like in your favorite space sci-fi.

I have a genuine question for the people stuck her with me with the sunk cost fallacy.

OK SO!
Does anybody actually care if anyone except for the blonde girl dies?
I mean, Sure the Black ... one of the black haired girls are childhood waifu, but she kind of came out of nowhere, and I could justify it by saying "Yer that's another clone."
I like kawana, but Azuma is likeable too. oota is somewhat close to uruma as well, at least more than the dead cop. i don't care for the model.

Kyou chan wasn't all the time in that spot iirc. bullshit chapter as usual

I don't really even know what to say or think anymore. This is the first chapter that really, truly made me go "I actually don't want to read this anymore at all." I really hope we just bypass all this shit and we don't even see any of these deaths happen, it would be the best outcome. Watching the torture scenes was fine at the start when it was Shun torturing his family's killers, but watching it happen to these girls who haven't done anything wrong is just. No thanks! I'm good!

It's not even out of squeamishness or caring about the characters, it's just... This whole "love game" thing feels completely pointless. There's no actual interesting decision being made, there's no interesting development being given, it's not like "well maybe if Shun is smart he could actually save some of them," because BY DESIGN the game is "everyone's going to die and Shun just chooses the order." We've now been shown that he can't just go rush Kyou down, and if he tries anything then the bitch with the gun will just kill the girls anyway, so like legitimately:

What interesting developments can possibly happen in the next chapter?
-"I can't choose! I can't choose!"
-"Choooose Urumaaaa! You have to chooooose!"
-(one of the girls has a flashback)
-"Shun... Pick me! It's okay! Thanks for everything!"
-"I can't chooooooose!"
-trap activates and kills one of the other girls instead
-"KYOU-CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN"
-NEXT WEEK: Time to choose!

Pro tip: just rapidly flip through until the absurd plot contortionist act for the issue, roll your eyes, and then complain about it.

This is not snark, this series is absolutely braindead.

I take a several month mental-health break from this airplane crash of a manga back when the original bully flashbacks began and this is what I come back to? I'll remind everyone that even disregarding Uruma, Kawana had the shotgun pointed at Kyou for entirety of the VR arc! And now she's handcuffed in death game facing a Now That's What I Call Music Vol. 124 compilation of some of the story's most lurid tortures mixed in with some new ones.

And even ignoring as others have pointed out that Uruma could simply step around the acrylic L-shield (or jump up over it), all acrylic panels AREN'T BULLET PROOF meaning he could swipe the shotgun back with his ostensibly super-human speed and go for the kill. It'd be worth a figurative and literal shot.

I miss the Doctor so much (we could have used his explosives here)...

So, will Reo be the one to save Uruma and (most likely, only some of) the remaining girls from this pickle?
