Okay... So Para isn't gay, and she's interested in Zuka.
One thing that sticks out to me though is that she thinks she and Zuka are the same, but as we saw from Miki's arc, Para's bar is always spinning around and around while Zuka's is unmoving.
I'm really curious what his power is and what the whole bell thing is about. The caption says "For whom does the bell toll?" so maybe it has something to do with his emotions? It dinged when he pushed Para away...

@versub It's a duplet, so you could go 1,2 3,4 but yeah, it stood out to me too, since the count is by panels. You could count the duplets themselves as a beat, I suppose. Maybe that's how she sees it?

It's a weird little thing that doesn't matter much, but I'm with you on it sticking out if you're aware of rhythm notation and what the heart sounds like.

@brownrabbit The magazine is monthly, but the series has had so many breaks that we can't tell whether the author is going to release regularly. The reason we get chapters out so fast is that it happens to be published in the same magazine as one of our main series.

I don’t know how in this chapter people are getting that Para isn’t interested in Miki and interested in Zuka. The opposite is literally laid out here in this manga’s rare moments of total clarity.
