I come back only to read schizo posting from both side. Can you both just tell each other to "K*ll yourself, f*ggot" and move on? I'm not even saying this with malice, is what a lot of people (me include) used to do back in 2009-2012, solves the problem right away, just call each others a slur and move on.

To the bug guy, there is nothing wrong with a woman being a only being a wife and a mother, one of the main reasons people made cities and therefore orginized societies would have been so that mothers and children would be permanently fed, housed, and protected. From this conception men would have ordered the world of their families to be safe and provided for; to be a mother and wife is technically the only necessary job for which all other jobs exsist at root. Respect the wifes and mothers who choose this profession; "the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world."

Apologies for the rambling, I genuinely hope you sort out whatever is going on in your life that lead you to denigrate the importance of traditional moms.

I'm not saying having both working parents are bad, it's just that having at least one parent taking care of their children while growing up is better. Also according to the interviewed couple from the video above, daycare fees are expensive and will be more so if the total family income is high.

What me reading for free has to do with anyting? Guys who pay for it dont get more chapters you know. And if you following this manga closely you know that this mangaka misses weeks extremely often. And there were few times when they missed week, released .5 chapter and then missed week again. Its seems they are resting more often then not.

It's the other way round, lol. It's with the advent of modern contraception and the second demographic transition that married women got a chance to be anything other than house moms who care for their children as a full-time job. This also coincided with the human society developing enough productive capabilities for singles to be able to feed and clothe themselves, making marriage entirely optional.
Those are all recent developments - last century, really, - and it remains to be seen whether they become the norm, historically. Since a society like that has subreplenishment birth rates.

Me too. My wife has to work, but my sister is a housewife. It was more economical to do one income family than pay the child care. That's why modern life sucks. Having said, that, my sister is a great mom, and I don't want to hear anyone say otherwise.

It's not just an observation if you resort to calling the author lazy. You have no idea what's going on behind the scenes to cause this reduction in productivity. Making that judgement was just you complaining about something you're not even paying for.

If you had simply mentioned the slow pacing without that accusation, I wouldn't be calling you out. Notice how I didn't say anything to the guy who did exactly that in this forum thread?

I like that the author takes a long time when necessary. If you’re mentally exhausted and the story/art is going to suffer as a result, I’d prefer you’d just wait to release it. I’m not going anywhere anytime soon. Inspiration comes in waves, and sometimes people need a break to figure out where they’re going and how to get there.

It’s attitudes like this that have produced the current environment in America and the West, where birth rates are collapsing and both women and men have been reduced to corporate wage slaves making half the income each on top of having to pay for daycare instead of raising their own children.

IQ is falling because the people that are “responsible” and are high-intellect, high-earners aren’t having as high a proportion of the children. It’s a sick society in decline, and the economies of more traditional societies like China are already beginning to dominate as a direct result.

Moreover, what’s the difference between being part of a healthy family, assuming childcare duties, and being subservient to a corporate master? Well, for one, your family actually cares about you in a meaningful way.

Why would you denigrate the women intelligent enough to see that this current arrangement in the West is nothing but a scam and benefits no one?

Because I prefer education. I prefer the potential of human intelligence rather than our base biological functions.

And China is starting to be on the decline, it's not dominating as much as you say it is. Its population is starting to have the same problems as the West. Chalk it up to its nativist policy from years past where you were limited to a few children, and they couldn't be girls.

Where did I ever extoll or encourage being subservient to a corporate master? Nowhere. I wish for people to realize their potential. That doesn't mean one has to be subservient if one can avoid it.
