People bullied the faster release translation out of mangadex just because it apparently "sniped" the proclaimed group with "consistent upload schedule". The classic mob justice.

Stupidty of the highest degree,it was understandle with minimal thinking.

Mangadex has some of the stupidest people who don't recognise that this is a pirate site,far worse has been done but none of them take up the high seas to fix those.

The only things worse are the scanlators who think way too highly of themselves with their pieces of eight.

I think the author is red herring us to think that Cid is Jack the Ripper, but it doesn't fit Cid's MO.

y'know at first i was like, the clown is cid but then i was like the investigator is the clown but now i've circled back to the clown being cid again. although it could still be the investigator since he looks like a similar build to the clown and is a fan of those plagiarized books. since sherlock holmes was mentioned i assume that means jack the ripper would also be a character in the books. either way i'm placing my bet on either of those 2 being pennywise.

I don't imagine it would take a lot of magic to make a playing card lethal. They're already rather thin, so making them sturdy enough to pierce through someone's skull would be enough.

they said the card was just normal paper and that normal paper can only conduct at most 10% of the magic poured into it. the amount of magic needed and the skill needed to make it lethal would be pretty high.

i kept seeing comments talking about them having already read this but i hadn't seen any notifications this had an update before today. someone mentioning it was 2 weeks ago or so made me realize the reason why. it sounds like that was a group i blacklisted because of their scumminess and bad translation.

In the LN this was more like Horror + Comedy vibes, which makes sense since the Light Novel volume this is from was released on the exact day of Halloween last year.
