Let's see, Akemura could grab the first one before it's even tested by anybody and go nuke the island.

In which case there will need to be a new reason to even forge the additional blades after that. Maybe to stop him.


Or Akemura could wait patiently and grab like the 5th blade or whatever then join the fight that the previous 4 blade owners are already fighting on the island.

The younger brother wants to get Kurotsuchi, but you can only have one kind of sorcery. Does that mean male Sogas are without sorcery unless they awaken Kurotsuchi? The other Soga on Irishima didn't seem to use sorcery. Guess they could be an exception and have two sorcery lines like the Sazanami, but I'm not a fan of power creep by expection route. You end up like Naruto with everyone having a special eye of something. Just make the Soga physical beasts.

I was thinking that the first blade could've been kumeyuri but I've been leaning towards Magatsumi or Tobimune.

I think the Magatsumis core was made first as a prototype and - after seeing the immense potential of datenseki weapons - lock for the other blades. The first 'real' blade was probably Subarus.... though I also could see Pinky being the first, giving her finally a reason to enter the story.
