I wonder if Bullet is the actual antagonist, though. I've had a lurking suspicion for a long time he may not be the final baddy. Just speculation on my part.

Princess Flare? From what I remember, her goals were to have her kingdom conquer the world. She wasn't on board with the whole eldritch abomination thing. Not that I've read ahead.

As for how Bullet came across the dark power, the King captured him and infected him, to which he shot himself to avoid becoming absorbed, but he survived thanks to the dark power. It happened a while back. Just, after the King was purified, he became the head of the hydra.

Is she more Flare or Friea is what I was getting at. What's going to be her next move since she regained her memories that she is actually Flare. In the last chapter she seemed like she was having a hard time mentally dealing with it and she wasn't sure who she was.

Well I remember reading a bit of the web novel, the King had a mysterious advisor who ended up having been sent from the Demon King. That advisor infected the King. The advisor was fought around the same time the King was.

Well, ever since they met with the Phoenix bird I have been thinking it. Keyaruga asked it about the immortality power. It claimed it came from the realm of gods where it came from but didn't elaborate much. I feel like it knew way more than what was stated. Maybe nothing else comes of it but that's why I think that.
