Pretty sure that the only way to really understand someone is when you're able to actually put yourself into their mind set. I'm too apathetic to do that. So I can't understand what, to me, is an obviously stupid mindset.
It isn't 'natural' for any animal in nature to think that way. Only the upbringing and morals of your life and surroundings can cause you to. My upbringing wasn't even close to 'nice', lol. So I never developed such a backwards ideal. Blaming the victim is wrong. But you're saying its completely 'normal' for a victim to blame themselves as the victim and that's okay. Which seems silly to me.
I'm not a sociopath, either. I do care about people. But only the ones who matter to me personally. I'm more of an "I'll help someone directly in my path. But if they're across the street, they're on their own" type of person.
Guess we'll just agree to disagree. Or rather I will, and not remember this within an hour or two
