@kampfarsch

I can help a little with that...His main Revenge is limited to the heroes so He doesn't want to take any risk with Someone stronger than him... Even though He has a new Item that Boosts His "Healing" Power, It's still untested and risky so He doesn't want to take any unneeded risk against someone and focus on those he can take head-on... But now that They overdid and starting to kill others especially one that he knows Was sweet and innocent he has reason to kill them all in a painful way

I can’t wait for Brett to hit the scene. One of the most over-the-top scumbags in manga; I don’t say that lightly.

i'm confused does he not like people who hurt women because by that logic he should hate himself.

This is some Order 66 shit, not gonna lie. I appreciate who they set up the riot from the beginning by putting plants in the audience and just let the emotional highs do the work.

Does anyone who read the light novel know if he heals the cakeshop owner? I'm curious, because I think that would be a bit out of character if he didn't.

@Siikalahna It's been established multiple times that Keyaru has a very specific moral code that's kinda egoistic. He doesn't take sides, but rather he treats those around him how he is treated and he punishes those he believes have transgressed against him in some way. In this case, he saw Norn's actions leading to his favorite shopkeeper being assaulted, so he has reason to take revenge as in his previous life, Norn wasn't directly responsible for much of his suffering. All of this is consistent with his character and how he would fall into reason. He's already stated he has a plan for this to defend the town, because he values it personally, but that doesn't mean he had a reason to cross Norn yet, but now he does, which means he can take revenge. It follows his character's logic, though not necessarily the audience's morals.

Norn is scarier in the novel. A brilliant, ruthless tactician and not one to show her emotion openly like that (in private is another story). As for MC, he’s more psychotic. He goes out of his way to make a “close friend” just so that friend would accidentally die to Norn so MC could take revenge. He is abnormally obsessed with revenge and won’t really harm others unless it’s part of revenge. He doesn’t take revenge against past life enemies unless they harm him or those he’s close to in this life.

Tsk I feel like the mc is just finding a reason for "revenge" like he's kinda just standing on the side waiting for something bad enough to happen so he can get his revenge.

@Mpmpz14 It's been a while since I've read it (the WN not the LN), but for the most part it's the same. The manga does a better job of making it more real and emotional at the expense of details though. The WN wasn't very polished but still pretty good, but I'd definitely say the manga is better. Most likely the LN is the best though as it usually is.

@firosahoge

It makes sense? He's not a sane, rational person, he's a victim who was broken multiple times on an almost daily basis. The only thing he really knows is revenge. It may be his only motivating factor for literally anything at all. He would have to set up situations where revenge can push him into moving in order to do something he'd otherwise do anyway/wants to do. I haven't read the novel, but even here it seems like he doesn't actually enjoy sex itself so much as he sees it as a form of dominance creating a high, and perhaps a smaller form of revenge in that he was never allowed to enjoy sex before or have it on his own terms.
