As much as I liked for them starting the fight at the end, they delayed that by stating the obvious. "Oh this is only as long as the reinforcements and the area will fall" no way if you don't take down the villain you die????
I'm REALLY hoping they don't make Mina a kaiju given the veins on her face just because Kafka was like... minutes late. Please execute this well

So Kafka thinks he can win because he spent a few weeks learning how to throw a punch. Even when he's up against the monster that beat/absorbed the guy who created said fighting style and can now probably use it. Sure, that tracks for this manga.

He saw the samurai guy at the temple, so maybe he also has the power to absorb guys—and, if the first commenter is right that Mina is already infected, maybe Kafka will enter her mindspace for a 20-chapter backstory arc to defeat her inner demons or something. Before any of that happens, however, the next few chapters will have to seemingly dominate #9 only for the latter to be like "now I've gotten used to your speed", and given the current pace that would take several weeks.

Nice to see Kafka finally fight #9 again. Mina looks like she was already turning midway into a kaiju. I hope they will find some way to stop her from becoming one...
