I had started believing Kon must be a lure, like the bait of an anglerfish. That stands but still... It's good to have it emphasized she is/was a living person who was awkward for relatable reasons. Not a total fiction of a person.

Same, practically nobody on the island knew or paid attention to Kon except her family. But turns out monster is still a monster and it ate Kon. And now we wait.

Thought this was completed since it has few chapters despite how it’s been running for over 7 years.

I guess I’m caught up now, so… yay? It’s nice that the two of them managed to meet up again, but now I have to wait like the rest of you to see what the heck is going on here.

Reunited in death? I can't tell if this is like the beginning of the end of the series, like maybe it's meant to be a short kinda mind fuck type of story which I could see since it's such big gaps between chapter releases. But if there's a bigger plot to be explored and there is still a lot to go then it will be interesting to see where it goes but it will be agonizing and probably require a bunch of re-reads to stay fresh in the mind

Btw is there a reason there's such a large gap between updates? Is this like a passion project on the side from the authors main work?
