Guys there are some name that have been translated incorrectly on the past chapter like Major Xiang the correct one is Longfeng not Longpeng and Yamato name too have been corected its not Reiwa but Yoshikazu, now all the name is now correct and im sorry about the previous chapter translated name.

No one have actually seen Konoe's body so there is hope that she is on some secret Monster Squad or just in coma and have been kept secret by MYST to study, there is still hope that she is alive somewhere.

As much as I love Konoe, bringing her back would actually undermine everything that's being setup, like all the new military tactics based on her previous engagements and the impact she's had on the people.
As jingoistic as the delivery is of the new enlisted officers joining because of Connie's heroics, it's really good to see how far the reach of her actions has gone.

I'm gonna be honest, I was already perfectly fine with the manga ending, even this very chapter, with the strong message of heroes being mortal and the impact of their legacy.

But I respect this decision just as well. The author has some more world building to explain still and I think the majority of readers want to see more of Konoe. So I think this is fine, though it's undeniable that this fake death feels a little comical in hindsight with how it was rushed and now quickly revealed.

This seems like the more interesting direction for the story to go right now.
