Nylda: "Once magic stones reach this state, the magic doesn't leak out. A pity you can't extract it, though."

You don't refuse royalty and still enjoy any kind of freedom. Heck, even if it was nobility, he'd be a wanted man. That's just how a feudal society worked.
Uhhuh. So, he's so good that royalty would specifically want weapons from him, but if he refuses, the royals would drive him out of the country, to make some neighbouring country more powerful? I don't think so.

There are also different ways to refuse. Such as telling that every single weapon costs 30 gold or more. They would find another supplier for most of the stuff.

That 2nd panel on page 10 confused me a bit, because it sounded like the blade was made of white wood.

But what he really meant was that the scabbard was made plain or simple without any decorations, similar to the blade,
and that scabbard was made of plain wood.
yea a more proper english sentence would be, Like the blade, the scabbard was made plain, out of white wood.

but I'm not sure about the white color, tho..
Shiraki (白木) does literally translate as white wood,
but that kanji is used to describe simply the plain, unpainted, and untreated wood.

It might actually be brownish, but since it is a manga, everything is in black and white

Hm... I'm still thinking about this, he's saying he is completely neutral and that he doesn't really care who'd get or use his weapons, but I'm sure there'd be tons of people who'd have very different opinions on either side.

To humans, a traitor who just supplied the demons with a weapon that's cutting down their countrymen, and to the demons a target that's tipping the scales towards the humans with his weapons. Now I'm wondering which side is going to for his neck first (and those around around him)

This arc literally happened because a human with his weapon went and beat a demon princess (never mind that he also supplies tools/basic weapons on the regular on human side)
And said demon princess answer was to find him to get herself a weapon of the same caliber.

Never mind that MC lives in a dangerous enough location he can use coming to his place as a test of the customer's skills.

Going for his neck is probably the dumbest move if anything. Here lives a person who doesn't actually favor either side as long as they can clear his test, let's go antagonize him and risk losing access to said weapons ourselves or worse make him actively favor the other side.
Hell a lot of series start BECAUSE someone with that mindset decide 'MC must die' and then shit boomerang so hard in their own face.

Whelp, I wonder how long it'll be until Eizo makes a magic sword with that gem that's supposedly impossible to extract magic from?
