It’s still there though, you must’ve missed it.
I tried to load the series page on Setsu Scan's website from a bookmark a few days ago and it was 404, and it didn't appear on their list then or when I checked just now. Hopefully just a glitch, I've been enjoying their work on this series!

After looking at it closer it seems there's two sites, and this manga only appears on one of them.
This is the site they link to in their discord.

Erufu ticked off the list!! But what happened to all that with the previous 4 or 5 chapters?? She made it out as if that monster could only be defeated by magic involving sacrifice?? 🤔 Did the mangaka/author just give up??? "Welp we'll just have blacksmith-kun lop off his head with one swing of his sword...." Ah well alls well that ends well i guess. Thanks for TL. 🙏:D

'Two time is abnormal so a third is unlikely'
I mean I guess? But without knowing the why that's really not something I would just want to dismiss so readily though when failure to anticipate can mean a decimated village.

Soldiers help screening small flies, which help a lot.

Knight is as helpful as insurance is to accident. That is, entirely worthless to actually avoid or solve the problem, but helpful at reducing impact if that problem is not avoidable/solved.

What is actually worthless is the noble, which don't directly help with any essential tasks. (All tasks they did could be given to other.) The only job required from them is to claim the success, because the kingdom wouldn't let commoners claim it. He's there to prevent the human problem, not to solve the monster problem. (He did help, but not as a noble.)
To be fair, Marcus did want to go in, but as the head of the family with no heir yet, that would be too dangerous. If he died, the family would be wiped out. Plus because he was the type of person who gets "down and dirty" (remember his stint as the Town guard), he is likely experienced in field tactics, and his death will be a great loss to the kingdom (especially as his father had died, too). So it might be a royal decree to keep him alive.
