Damn, this this boutta make me cry tears if joy. This series has been quite the joy and reminds me of Read "Ouji-sama no Tomodachi". The basic plot is just the same in both but they both have their own ups and downs. Definitely a must read and will patently wait for every chapter

This is very cute but can get old quick if we don’t get any progress. It feels like we will be waiting a long time for a confession. If we get a love rival im dropping it.

This feels like he's on the verge of romantic feelings to me. Like it's not been something that's been part of his mental framework that she's a candidate, possibly that anyone is a candidate. But it's not the usual oh wow is me type, just never considered it. I think once she can get him to consider romance at all he'll fall HARD and fast.

My thinking is slightly different. While that's all true, i think it's even more that he doesn't think of himself as good enough to be anyone else's "candidate" (especially as he looks at himself pretty much solely in comparison to his idealized version of Ibuki, someone not even the real Ibuki can hold a candle to). He's still just that little bit childish, and getting him past that is the thing she needs to do most of all before any of the other pieces can fall into place.
