I mean. The cat is cute so it's all good. Plus his appraisal skill is probably good enough for him to live in comfort inside town as a guild receptionist or something. He doesn't actually need to become an adventurer and use fighting skills or anything so it's not even much of a loss.

I must have missed something, but why did he want to risk his life hunting monsters and people again? As opposed to sticking to a cushy job as receptionist (as he was offered now) while using his surplus pay to create condiments he can sell, and other domestic cheats?

@feha It's just that the shitty goddess gave him superpowers and took that away for cat food, leaving him with this "I could do so much more with that" feeling of frustration.

What? 30yen≈0,30€≈0.30$ for that whole bad of round vegetables/fruits? That's either a bargain or it tastes like ass.

"Canola oil is a form of rapeseed oil, deriving from a selectively bred variety of rapeseed first created in Canada in 1978"

Either the foreign word is super special (and with a Goddess like that, not writing it completely out- especially not with her having given comment in the first chapter to the fact that the world used to be in a better state than it currently is), or that should read "rapeseed oil". :p

Of course, given that Canola Oil was created to be a more palatable form of rapeseed oil, and thus has replaced it to the point where it is the only rapeseed oil you can find on grocery shelves, there *is* the question of whether anyone'd have recognized the association had the translator not gone with "canola oil". So I guess I can't really pick at it. Just felt so outta place, though. :'P
