I understand why the translators left this final chapter for so long, it feels like a axe ending, coming out form nowhere, when it really was planned like this from the start, being a novel promo, but it doesn't change how we would have liked more.
At least there are clear hints of MC and bag getting closer, she and uniform enthusiast are head to head for the "best girl" throne.
Schizo loli is out for being a schizo and having the body of a child.

EDIT: I was curious and checked the novel and is in hiatus, the manga even showed problems because in the last year the chapters came out months apart, we didn't wait 9 months because the translator didn't like the finale, it was released just a a bit over 2 months ago, something likely happened.

Looking at how the novel is in hiatus and the manga was super slowed down with only a couple releases in 2025 is possible they wanted to do more but the writer block (best reason because another could be health) of the author changed the situation and they decided to make it end with a xmas chapter where one member of the group recovers.
The 2nd novel cover have a girl I don't recognize, so it likely have enough material for more chapters, but the end wouldn't be in a good armosphere like this one, so they axed it.
