So 10 seconds into his village and apparently someone casually made a youth potion and high grade weapons are so common a metal sword is treated like the poor man's dirt sword.

Honestly I'm more curious how the trader got to the village than anything. It doesn't seem like the type of place outsiders get to (and since they don't want the high quality weapons it feels like they didn't intentionally search for it).

Clearly, this shopkeeper doesn't know about obsolescence. If you're worried a knife made with metal will chip or rust after a hundred years, how are you even selling knives? After everyone gets one, they don't need more for life, and gift it to the next generations... Terrible business sense.

But what if what the villagers are cutting with is also out of common sense... maybe they uses dragon scale as a chopping board.

MC did say the village moves every 10 years. Maybe the merchant leads, or was part of a wandering caravan, and they just stumbled on the place.

Well, now we know why the MC is such a doofus when it comes to common sense. His entire home environment made him that way.

If the villager have the same rank as Kuruto, that means they can easily break or melt an orichalcum when they are doing everyday work, so I think the demand will still be there.

I think all those so-called adults should be more alarmed about a local noble trying to use a demon princess in some evil magic. At the very least, he's plotting a rebellion, and a lot of people would die.

You don't need business sense when your whole village migrates to a new place every 10 years, and your shop sells epic artifacts. They clearly aren't doing it for the money.
