Ain't gonna lie, the twist about it being a gift instead of a curse is kinda neat. However, the fact that this is connected to another story is kinda weird. And this is the final chapter? Why? What happened to the interconnected plot? That's the thing making this anthology worth a read but was suddenly thrown away

Well, that was quite the interesting ride lol. I love this kinda stuff.

Talk about an awkward interaction. Imagine keeping a secret that you might have once committed manslaughter for more than a decade, constantly wrestling with feelings of guilt and paranoia that someone might find out. Then you meet your former neighbor on the street and she reveals that not only has she known all along, but she also set you up in the first place. And then she reveals that she trapped you in a time loop so that you could finally find the motivation to improve your drawing skills enough to get into art school in what's gotta be one of the most backhanded ways of saying thanks imaginable.

The only thing that could make this worse is if she somehow found out that she also indirectly ruined the life of a high school girl who witnessed the old man's death by setting in motion a chain of events that ended in her getting kidnapped by a killer cannibal and a stinky recluse.
