~BINGE EATING~ solves everything wooo

I'm glad we're getting to know more about Yukka, so her involvement in the plot is going to feel less Deus Ex Machina like

With how transphobic the students at this school are, I can only guess that they treat gay people similarly.
Time to predict what happened between Yukka and her crush. Considering that Yukka dragged Hime along with her under the pretense that they were only going out to eat, Yukka seems to not handle her own issues directly. It is suggested through her conversation with Hime that she has developed an understanding of how people see herself, and how she views them. This is reinforced by her comment on the intentions of the older track girl, but this instance also hints that she does care about the opinions of others. All of this depicts her as self conscious, and, given that, how would someone like that pursue someone they like? We do know that things don't turn out favorable; she ends up binge eating. My guess is she becomes friends with her, develops feelings for her, indirectly asked her crush if she was into woman, and found out she wasn't.

I Just hope the series doesn't follow the easy route "The soccer boy is a jerk, this solving everything because he's a bad guy".

Yukka talking about herself is good, she becomes a little bit more human and a little bit less of a plot revive.

Btw, Akira bothers me, right now If I had to ship someone It would be Hime and Yukka

Akira seems too artificial, which is bad considering How important she os for the plot

Tbh, I think it was a bit rushed for Akira to sign up for soccer manager. Safety first. I wouldn't even think about it *shudders* all those dudebros might be dangerous. Having another trans friend with her could be more helpful than the idealistic "GO FOR IT!!" that all the girls keep repeating. If she wanted to be manager, it would be a lot safer for her to be a manager of a girl's club

@thehist yeah I have a feeling we are going to see a devastating arc here that will be a lesson in how terrible shitty people can be just because they can

No shit? Did some of y'all forget this takes place in Japan 'cause it's subject matter actually touches on various gender and sexuality issues without making them the butt of a joke? Japan is super good at a number of things, one of which is being judgemental about people that are different. Dress like a gyaru, you're probably a whore. Dyed hair on a dude? Better watch out, he's a delinquent. Someone has a tattoo? Must be connected to the yakuza, good ol' regular folk don't do shit like that. See where I'm going here?
