@angelonius I was hoping you'd be a decent person and maybe edit the slurs from your posts unprompted, maybe give us a general "My bad, fam! I won't say it anymore because I have manners and respect for other people and it's not a difficult thing for me to do." I'm only exerting as much energy for this on the off chance you only thought it was a joke and didn't know better (and not just you, but any other person publicly reading this who was previously ignorant to it).

I have asserted with evidence and explanation that the "blackmail" premise being stated is not only not a real thing (one might call it a "lie"), but is in fact a transphobic illusion to mask the fragility of toxic masculinity and it's hatred toward women. People inside and outside the trans community HAVE discussed this extensively; here are some videos essays on the subject that are far more entertaining than my rambling, including Are "traps" gay? (which only requires the first 10 minutes to reach understanding, if you're not inclined towards her more performative style), and "Traps" Don't Exist And Here's Why with the history of the slur.

@dancingoncrocodiles not a fan of that style of attack, fam. The only evidence so far is they currently believe transphobic rhetoric over the alternative and harmless perspective offered.
It's not worth my energy anymore so I'm blocking them, where I can pretend maybe they'll learn some manners at the very least and respect for trans women at the best (which is something I'll genuinely be sad if I miss).

I'm gonna answer this in detail:
>I was hoping you'd be a decent person and maybe edit the slurs from your posts unprompted
You can't make me.

>maybe give us a general "My bad, fam! I won't say it anymore because I have manners and respect for other people and it's not a difficult thing for me to do."
This level of condescension and arrogance is why I loathe social media activists like you. No amount of flowery language nor dickish behavior is going to make me support this idiocy.

>I'm only exerting as much energy for this on the off chance you only thought it was a joke and didn't know better (and not just you, but any other person publicly reading this who was previously ignorant to it).
You could have done this shit with far less condescension, no patronizing and most importantly none of the smug LGBT activist arrogance that you and your ilk love to shove down the throats of every single person who jokes/disagrees. And yes, my original post here IS a joke. And yet, you chose to be a bloody twit about it.

>I have asserted with evidence and explanation that the "blackmail" premise being stated is not only not a real thing (one might call it a "lie"), but is in fact a transphobic illusion to mask the fragility of toxic masculinity and it's hatred toward women.
This is the textbook example of transgender apologia - deny that the problems exist and call all who point this out as transphobic. This is what's wrong with the LGBT activism as of late - your side is too busy defending bad actors in your side instead of calling them out. When you defend the bad actions of the LGBT community, your side gives plenty of munition to your opponents!

And yet the term "trap" as it's commonly understood comes from the anime fanbase mostly as a referent, not a slur. If anything, it's Western LGBT activists like you and dancingoncrocodiles who give a West-centric and LGBT-centric interpretation of an anime term instead of leaving the term alone!

>The only evidence so far is they currently believe transphobic rhetoric over the alternative and harmless perspective offered.
[citation needed]

>It's not worth my energy anymore so I'm blocking them, where I can pretend maybe they'll learn some manners at the very least and respect for trans women at the best (which is something I'll genuinely be sad if I miss).
I'm gonna be blocked? This is the go-to response of a LGBT activist once he/she/it has been utterly crushed by someone like me - they block the dissent because they are too weak to respond it it. Also, I'm not going to bow down to any transgenders any time soon.

All right. That's enough. Take it to PMs or I'll lock the thread.

The plot thickens!

Could Akira-chan’s crush also be trans? Was calling Hime cute just a compliment instead of a flirtation?

This doesn’t update frequently enough! Two weeks is too long!

Reminder to readers (and myself) that people writing in this thread are actual, feeling people, and deserve the basic levels of respect and empathy we can give in any social interaction. Idk why transphobes feel the way they do or why trolls need to poke hurtful things and be mean (being flippant and passing it off as "the way they are" isn't conducive to helping make change), but if in my good faith people are unwilling to meet me halfway and give that civility, then mine can only go so far.
I'm not sorry for sharing helpful information, or even telling people who may not know that "trap" is a slur, but I am sorry for how I handled things, making many of you uncomfortable reading any vitriol or red flags that came of it. I'll endeavor to take any charitable discussion to PMs next time.

@boltizar I'm fairly certain the new character introduced this chapter is different from Hasegawa, Akira's crush. I was suuuper confused at first though because they looked so similar, but this new person has fluffy, curly styled hair to Hasegawa's sharp, messy style (and their personality dialogue feels light and reads slightly different from Hasegawa's cool). I hope we learn their name next chapter!! I can totally see them becoming my favorite character.

That’s good to know that they’re two different people. Makes me feel less wary of Waitress-san (until we know they’re name).

I hope they’re inducted into the friend group. This manga hits me in the dysphoria hard but still has the positive moments needed for this to be a support piece. If that makes sense. I like that Hime and Akira have a friend group that legitimately cares about them and respects them for who they are without any ulterior motives (Hime’s crush notwithstanding).

@theHist i think its just random people who see this on the start page when a new chapter is uploaded. like you have to keep in mind that not everyone goes to this site to read good mange like we do, theres also a lot of trash on here and even porn i think. so its more like those people are weirdos in general and not just transphobes.

Also keep in mind there's dipshits like @raincoatkiller or @imryse who probably have a real shitty life (likely self-imposed) and so punch down because their own existence is so pitiful that they have to be garbage towards a group of people they perceive as lessers to feel some semblance of superiority since they're likely worthless irl

It's why a lot of people in the proud boys are total shutin white as the driven snow manchildren

Yeah, you want it to be "mental illness" instead of "transgender" if there was a tag. Don't tell me you're too blinkered to understand why this would be a problem, I think you know exactly what you're saying and are playing dumb. Hence, piss off.

This manga just dropped a chapter tackling a common cis misconception, but drag ≠ trans and I LOVE that we're seeing this with the new character because explaining gender expression to people new to trans and LGBTQIA+ ideas can be incredibly difficult. (Also lowkey wanna call them RoRo-chan)

@imryse maybe take your bad faith transphobic trolling to the suggestion forum and ask for proper tagging there instead of insulting and harassing us with your existence in this thread

edit: apparently there's someone with the username "everyone" lmao xD didn't mean to bring you into this fam, sorry, enjoy the tea <3
