Then why does she tell the MC that she never cheated? Makes no sense to me that she's after his tail again after months (unless she did cheat, the other guy dumped her and now she's looking for the MC as a rebound in which case she can go fuck herself all the way)

Im seeing two giant red flags that were probably the death nail of his relationship with his ex.....the first....her response to the MC when he asked her out "will you make me happy?"...that should be a huge warning on what her mentality is gonna be like throughout the relationship....it almost screams that things need to be all about her.....and secondly...she clearly feels threatened about his frienship with ayaka(i dont blame her, she is best girl after all).
