I fine with how Natsuki is going about this. I think the way she handled the whole 'bro you should have just asked if you needed a pencil' was fine. About the whole situation about her friend Reina and MC, her being a bit roundabout makes sense. She probably only knows Reina's side of the situation and is trying to be a good friend while at the same time giving the MC the benefit of the doubt. I mean, the reader has only just found out the MC's side of the situation.

Also people still shipping the MC with Ayaka are weird, acting like the arc where they are fine with being really good friends didn't happen.

Natsuki is basically telling him "You just assumed Reina cheated on you, and you broke up with her without asking." IOW, "If you want to know the truth, you need to ask."

I guess that really depends on what constitutes cheating. If all she did was hold hands with the dude, does that count?

More importantly, it's just thematic that a) MC never closes the loop with Reina and outright asks "Did you cheat on me and why" and b) Reina never fully explains herself at the moment of breakup.

In short they both suck at IPC101 which is why it's a standard course requirement in US colleges. Nothing more to see here.

The whole pen shtick is showing that mc is just so used to ayaka asking him what's wrong and understand him with him saying anything, while ex-gf isn't able to do that. When mc had a "problem" with his seniors in ch26, it was ayaka that came to help him and i guess he didn't talk about it to ex-gf, which pissed her off
