Damn it... if only they would have played it of with a "Is it a date then?" To at least make it look like they are getting somewhere, but no, it was just cut off. I can even tell the author was just tired and wanted it to be done...

Hell, there's better ABS-FOCUSED fetish bait out there that was capable of showing off delicious abs while still telling a story that was worth reading.
Hold on, now, you can't just say that without dropping a series name.

can someone explain why some manga or ig mangakas consider .5 as its own chapter/seperate chapter count? I don't get why the .5 is counted, if they wanted it to be counted, shouldn't they just label it as the next chapter count then instead doing a .5?

Damn, shit ending. I honestly can't wrap my head around the logic of ending like this. It has clearly either been axed or abandoned, so why not just end it right with at least a clear confession or relationship? Leaving it kinda open ended like this makes no sense. I know they're not gonna ever pick this up again, you know, they know, everybody knows, yet still, they can't at least finish something right while still leaving room for a possible (and non existing) sequel. Absolute blemish even if it has been a great ride so far. Dissapointing.

Yeah it sucks that this ended with literally ZERO development of any kind. Like no characters grew or changed at all LMAOO it was the most stagnant thing I’ve ever read for a whole 32 chapters...

i guess ABS can't save this series, huh. seeing MC who isn't actually into it slowly getting influenced because the constant exposure was hilarious, but that's about it. everything else is meh, especially art. very rough. mangaka need to improve this aspect more and maybe i would like it more. 6/10.

On one hand I'm a little disappointed, but on the other this is pretty much what I expected and highlights exactly why this series got axed in the first place - nothing has happened since the very first chapter. There is absolutely nothing I could tell you about any of these characters that I couldn't tell you after the premise was set up. The "story" of this 32-chapter manga could be entirely covered in a single sentence: "Loner kid hangs out in empty clubroom with cute athletic girl who has nice abs".

Now I know what some people here are thinking:
  • "It's a romcom, what do you expect?" - I expect actual rom or com to happen at some point. Their relationship never advances (or even really establishes beyond them hanging out in the same room), and the one singular joke repeated every chapter is just "MC is horny, usually for abs". Even when the hamster wheel spins in a romcom it'll usually at least tease something here or there, and there are generally a handful of running gags along with chapter-specific jokes.
  • "It's a slice of life, of course nothing happens" - Even while nothing dramatic happens in a slice of life we still learn new things about the characters - their likes and dislikes, hobbies and so on. Over the course of 30 chapters we learn nothing about the girl, and the only thing we learn about the MC is that he's prone to picking up new fetishes.
  • "It's just fetish bait, don't think about it" - Yeah and there's a lot better fetish bait out there than this, and I'm not even talking strictly about NSFW stuff. Hell, there's better ABS-FOCUSED fetish bait out there that was capable of showing off delicious abs while still telling a story that was worth reading.
Honestly I was shocked this series lasted as long as it did. Personally I think the best way this could've been improved would have been to introduce any other characters to the story - family, friends, teachers, whatever - so that there was something more to bounce the main two off of. But as it stands this definitely was a series that ended, and that's about all I can say about it.
TBQF&H the art is shit (not in the Holyland or OPM webcomic sense), which I think does tell you that the story is gonna be shit too. But yeah I understand how you feel. I myself only really viewed it at something weekly to look forward to to enjoy for 2 minutes.
