You know with the context of the LN spoilers why the fuck would she have said I want to have a both you and your ex. Like genuinely the scenario of "Your ex broke up with you because she had a crush on me but I'm interested in you." Would of still been rough on the guy but like far less bad then whatever the fuck this is if she is actually just interested in him.

Now see, this would make sense and would require characters that have spines/balls to do stuff, not have Celsius degrees room temperature IQ, etc. And we all know mangakas never go that way - cause it would stop them from milking stories with idiotic misunderstandings/dramas/etc.

People are able to give 8+ to mangas containing full frontal rapes, tortures and aggression without a particular good story, and this one which is rather harmless such a bad rating? Goes to show not to trust users ratings, I guess.
I think it's a matter of expectations and the standards within those expectations. If you're reading a grim dark story, or something with a lot of fan service, you know to expect these things, and that the story may take a back seat to those more visceral experiences - but this is a romance, and the set up is just so inane that it's distracting.
Why would you be willing to go out with the person who ntr'd you? Especially when they set up such a ridiculous and stupid bet!

You have no idea how badly I want to see fanfiction of this manga exploring this exact scenario, or one where
the canon ending (as revealed in a spoiler provided in the comments of last chapter) goes slightly differently, and instead of him coming back to the girls and leaving himself open to a relationship with them when they reveal the truth of things and offer to both date him, he just tells them that the whole scheme of theirs was hurtful and a betrayal, and flat out rejects both of them.
One where, in the first chapter, he decides that the best way to be more assertive and stand up for himself is to not let her bait and pressure him into accepting her challenge, and so he just wishes them happiness and washes his hands of things would be great too.
Unfortunately, this is a relatively obscure, unknown manga, and is almost guaranteed to never get any fics written for it.

If they just framed it as the FMC seeing the signs and trying to protect the guy she liked from being cheated on by exposing her, it would be much better. As it is now with her dating both and actively lying to the stolen girl about what she’s doing, this character is shit. I hope as the plot progresses it gets better though, there’s a chance for it to be really good later on.

I have every right to be mad instead of being able to enjoy normal romance stuff I'm gonna have to sit through whatever crazy ass backwards mental gymnastics will be written to make someone who by any logic should be the most untrustworthy character ever someone I wanna root for.
