What a thot...
I mean, if you meet a girl that uses her body to get what she wants, how do you call it?

On the onther side, The title of these chapters was written "kiss" and we all knew that Mizuhara wasn't giving anything to him yet. So it wasn't that shocking.

I get where you’re coming from. I get that people can be hard on mangas because they don’t cater to them so they completely miss what makes a manga great. And if you still like the manga then good on you, but that doesn’t make you smarter than anyone else. It just makes you less open to their thoughts and to be honest, it’s really easy to see why people wouldn’t like this manga. It’s easy to see why people might like it too. There’s lots of positives (character development, “realistic” characters) and lots of negatives (annoying characters, situations that could be dispelled simply). This is the same for other manga as well.

Now honestly, the reason why other mangas like Kaguya and Quintuplets are given more praise is because they do what they set out to do without upsetting their target audience. Kaguya intends to be a comedy and it does that really well. Quintuplets uses cliches but uses them well enough that it feels like something new rather than an another copy and paste romcom. The problem I personally have with this manga is that while it does a pretty good job at character growth, it creates situations that are more frustrating to read than enjoyable to read. It feels like a constant two steps forward, one step back. That’s why I can’t really say this manga does what it sets out to do really well.

I drop in from time to time in order to see if MC has developed past his beta male character. Guess not, 87 chapters and no character development progress. He manages to still go on dates with multiple girls on a regular basis, yet he's always starting at their chest legs and ass while getting embarrassed and flustered. This isn't anything i'd recommend a teen to read he'll definitely get the wrong idea of how to socially act around girls.

@Flavor25
Kaguya and Quintuplets are given more praise because the MC has steady character development and isn't portrayed as a beta cuck and for 87 chapters, his character has made no progress in character development after this long and this isn't even a gag manga.
Kaguya and Quints got better plot and story telling too, this series is meh at best.

I have mixed feelings about this. Want to cheer for Ruka but Chizuru is just too bright.
I think MC is to blame for everyone's suffering.

I don't know, I'm getting this image that Ruka is soon going full yandere... XD .
Besides, while you can say she loves him, all she does is giving him problems, headache and full on mischiefs against him and chizuru. I would have break up with her a long time ago.

“Ha ha you were such a coward”

Based grandma with the absolute savagery p

@caitsith
She deserves all the suffering and more, she’s a horrible horrible person with no redeemable qualities. Not even the MC, with his many foibles, deserves her craziness.

Really sad to see Ruka trying her best, but still getting L, she's considered kid by relatives of MC.

I see why many people thinks that Ruka is a troublemaker, which is somewhat true in all honesty. But think again, Kazuya always runs from his problems. He can always choose a way to settle everything starting from the rental situation. With that done you can face Ruka. And finally, maybe you can truly go out with Chizuru?

But hey, Kazuya's cowardice and escapist behavior is the series's highlight after all. About 80+ chapters in and that should be the common fact at this point.
