And so on.

The boy is incapable of standing up for himself, so expect one or both of these:
~ He flees the party feeling bad about something that wounded his fragile sense of self.
~ Chizuru stands up for him when he acts pathetic, which yet again he mistakes for True Love.

True love needs mutual respect. The only way King Simp knows how to earn "respect" is to sacrifice himself, because again he's a terminal Nice Guy (see link for why that's not a good thing).

watch, this is gonna turn into a reverse-Mami situation.

Umi is gonna advance on Chizuru in front of Kazuya, or Umi is gonna low key roast Kazuya.

Kazuya's already low self-esteem is gonna get rekted.

A few days later, Mami is gonna come in and comforts him, destroying that progress Kazuya made with Chizuru.

Bullseye on the middle two sentences, except author already told us who he'll have to interact with immediately afterward: Ruka, who will want to know ytf he wasn't at work. When Ruka consoles him, she NTRs Chizuru. XD
(Not serious on the last part, just tweaking both sides of the NTR wars.)
