Yeah, I dunno if it’s worth the frustration to continue reading this.

The dude, did nothing wrong, never once did he ever have even a bad thought about her, and he’s become the bad guy? The shit she said to him when she dumped him were just plain cruel, I was honestly kinda shocked because it seemed so out of character and hurtful.

It’s such utter BS that ALL the supporters are blaming the guy as well. The FMCs friends are assuming that the guy dumped her when it’s the other way around. The guy’s “friends“ have zero empathy or compassion either and clearly thin it’s his fault too, and are even belittling him. Like what the actual fuck?

I know that this was done by the author in hopes of creating exactly this feeling of incredulity in the reader but they are going about it all wrong. It shouldn’t require such an unreasonable thought process on behalf of the FMC to tell this story, but it seems that the author isn’t skilled enough to do it properly.

I'm not defending the plot, but the release cadence is making things worse. It has been like 15 months since the misunderstanding began. Since then we've only gotten 4 chapters.

The one thing he did that was fucked up was picking up a shift on Xmas eve when they had plans, and then failing to tell his boss and coworkers to stuff it when they took advantage of him and had him work overtime covering for others who wanted to fuck off and "call in sick".

He absolutely needed to not let himself get taken advantage of like that.

Everything else? Definitely on her, yes.

And the entirety of the supporting cast making him the bad guy is just one of those insufferable aspects of many a romance manga where it feels like the girl can do no wrong and even when it comes to light that this was by-and-large her fault, I'm betting none of them will admit they unfairly blamed him, much less apologize.

Guess what's worst? In the end after much "angst" he's gonna end apologising to her for "making" her believe he wanted to break up and she won't even get a slight tap on the head (this is all teories, if i'm right it's Japan's fault)
