They're releasing delux hardbacks next year, so it can't be that irrelevant. Gantz E is also still ongoing, so popular enough not to get the axe.

He's always been pretty tongue-in-cheek when it comes to self-referencing like this, so if anything he probably really likes Frieren.

On an unrelated note, I went to see a Toshiro Mifune film in a cinema just last week, Throne of Blood. Really neat film and stands as a testament to how foundational Shakespeare's works are (as an adaptation of Macbeth). That the story can work in a different culture and be just as strong was very interesting to see play out; also that the story of Macbeth meshes so well with samurai and feudal Japan's emphasis on honour.
