What is the point of the MC being a 100 point priest which is apparently unheard of and the greatest in the world if he isn't going to be able to heal the other guy's curse? What's the point of stacking his abilities like that if all he will use them on are cuts/bruises/exhaustion

@halbstunde the MC still has to level up to get new skills anyways. Im pretty sure that he can only heal physical wounds as he is now, but his healing is the most efficent of any healer. Removing a curse is probably a higher level of his healer class.

Sigh another manga which has a plot hole (in my opinion) The king's person said the average person had 20-30 stat points, so that means 20-30 points into healing. Our wonderful MC has like 100, therefore he should be able to do way more than an average healer. With how he is doing in stat points, he should be able to literally heal someone's body part if it were lost (that just makes sense to me). Some reason he is only healing external wounds, which regular healers should be able to do otherwise they're pretty useless. I don't get why he, himself, is not trying with his heal or does he need Cleanse or Purify?

100pts healing is a bonus stat, so it is a power bonus to the healing spells that are used.
New spells are obtained from leveling up his job class or evolving it to a higher tier. They have no relation to how good your stats are other then how powerful they will become once you acquire them.

As other have point out, magical curses may cause physical damage, but but they are not a wound that can be healed. A cure heals damage, purification dispels status effects. So while a cure might heal the damage the curse causes, it can't touch the underlying condition as it is a status effect.

Just sayin', but do you think that piece of shit king definitely bothered using any rare resources on him? He could easily be disposable as far as the king is concerned. Welp, we tried, he died. Roll the hero summoning gacha again.

It's entirely possible that he just said it was a better potion than it was, and stopped giving a shit when it didn't do the job. It's also possible that all the MC needs to do is learn any debuff removing skills at all to get the job done because he's at least 50 points higher in recovery than anyone the King has on staff.
