Wait, what happened to the human kingdom's soldiers actively trying to murder the Hero? And what possible reason does the Hero have for wanting the king to think he's still loyal? As far as we've been told, the only thing the bracelet does is prevent the Hero from going to another kingdom without the king's approval. So it does nothing to compel the Hero to work for the humans.
