Weirdly enough, being around playing kids really does bring out the inner (repressed) child in you.
When I teach kids at church camp to do cute dances, seeing them go ham with the dance moves makes me want to get more into it myself, shame be damned.

My older cousins have also mentioned that getting a chance to do kid activities with their own kiddos feels extra fun because it's nostalgic, and it's also just fun seeing your kids have a blast like you used to. When she was younger, you'd have to blackmail her to do any physical outdoorsy stuff. Now adays, she's on the trampoline with her kiddos within minutes (for both fun and safety purposes).

When I was a kid, I loved the swingset. I knew it was springtime when I would swing very high and could feel the butterflies in my belly for just a moment.

Now my head would hit the top of many swingsets due to my sheer height. Man how times have changed.
I pray that I can propose sooner rather than later. We both want a large family, but I have one more thing to take care of first.
