Yeah, there's been a few chapters of them as teens already so I'm not really sure why they went with this. Is he going to constantly tease her about not remembering?

Well we've seen that one of his main motivators in teasing her is because she forgot about him, kind of like how Takagi liked to tease Nishikata because he didn't remember helping her, it's basically a parallel the author is creating 🤔
