Nishikata's characterization is getting really annoying.

He is essentially the same character as his younger self, to the point that believing that he married and dated Takagi is really hard to believe.

I'm not saying the should be an uber-alpha man who teases Takagi and wins every competition but at least make him a little bit more affectionate, less of an idiot or anything that shows he actually grew up. Right now he seems like a massive manchild who never got past a mental age of 10 years.

@Acolytus I think the author made it clear with both manga that there will be no character development in that department. If you accept it and take it for what it is this is a pretty good fluffy romcom.

I don't see the author changing the MC in either manga any time soon, its what he has been selling to his viewers... a chump MC getting played around by a girl that likes him FUUCK IT DUDE
